India Elective Travel Scholarship
Thank you for your interest in applying for the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) India Elective Scholarship. We hope this will help you as you gain valuable experiences overseas.

The following are guidelines for applying for these 3 scholarships:

1. Applicants must be a student, resident or fellow in an accredited US school or training program.
2. Applicants must be members of the AAPI medical student/resident/fellow section (MSRF).
3. Scholarships are exclusively for electives in India.
4. The Academic Affairs committee of AAPI will review applications. The identity of each applicant will kept anonymous to each of the reviewers.
5. Scholarships will be offered once a year. The deadline is April, 30 2008 for electives to be performed anytime from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009.
6. Winners will be announced at the annual convention in Las Vegas, NV (June 25 - 29, 2008).
